How your consultation will go at our vein clinic in Sydney

When you book an appointment with one of our doctors, we take the time to understand your needs and guide you through every step. Your consultation starts with a detailed discussion about your medical history, lifestyle and any symptoms you may be experiencing. It’s important to mention:

  • Any pre-existing conditions that could affect treatment.

  • Medications or supplements you take regularly.

  • Any past reactions to medicines, anaesthesia or other procedures.

  • If you are pregnant or planning to be (varicose vein treatments are not recommended during pregnancy).

Your doctor will then perform a physical examination and an ultrasound scan to assess your veins. This allows us to determine whether treatment is needed and which option will suit you best. You’ll receive a tailored treatment plan along with a clear explanation of costs so you can make an informed decision with confidence.

Most of our non-surgical varicose vein treatments take around 60 minutes to complete and involve minimal discomfort under local anaesthetic. Our friendly team will be with you every step of the way, from answering questions before your appointment to helping you feel calm and comfortable on the day of your treatment.
